Range Building

We Want to Build Biathlon Ranges

They're hard to build. Designing and maintaining them is a no small project. From environmental considerations, IBU regulations, and safety protocols, there's a lot to get right.

We have experience in this space, and we’re ready to help.

CAD Repository Access

Modern biathlon ranges are changing quickly, especially with the adoption of electronic biathlon systems. We want to create solutions to set biathlon ranges up for the long run.

We understand that every biathlon range project is different. Our designs are intended to use easily available and locally sourced materials to reduce costs for your club.

We have complete models in our repository for the following items:

  • Lane markers (Complete with post assembly)
  • Lane numbers (Firing line)
  • Lane numbers (Target mounted)
  • Mechanical targets (Complete assembly)
  • Mechanical target mounting frames
  • Wind flags (Complete with post assembly)

We are interested in creating designs for:

  • Permanent steel frames for paper targets, with integrated lead traps
  • Permanent or semi-permanent laser optical biathlon target frames

Support

This is a skill we're still learning. That’s why we want to offer our consulting services at little to no cost, depending on the scope of your project.

We see every range as an opportunity to grow the sport and strengthen the biathlon community in Canada. If you're developing a range, or exploring what’s possible, we’d love to help.
